Subject: cord prolapse
Dear colleagues,
the contemporary rate for cord prolapse given in the medical literature
lies between 0.4 and 3.55%. However, Austrian caregivers report a much
lower rate from personal experience.
May I ask you to report how often you personally have experienced cord
prolapse? Please also state: your country, and the number of years in
practice or the number of births you have attended for comparison.
Thank you
