We should like to draw to your attention a joint meeting organised by
the Wolfson Research Institute, the University of Durham and the ESRC
Research Methods Programme on 1-2 April 2004 to discuss
interdisciplinary approaches to understanding health outcomes and
inequalities.
Professor Margaret Whitehead will be the plenary speaker. There are
three themes: (1) the role of genes in health outcomes, (2)
understanding spatial effects and (3) the role of RCTs.
The meeting is designed to be allow discussion and debate and thus
numbers are limited to about 60. There is no charge for attending this
event.
