E-LEARNING CONTENT DEVELOPER
£20,854 - £23,578 per annum
The National Archives is seeking to recruit an innovative and enthusiastic
content developer for its award winning education web site Learning Curve
and its online museum. This is an opportunity to be involved in exciting,
successful and ambitious projects. The Learning Curve has established itself
as one of the leading web sites for teaching history, working with top
authors in the field. The online museum showcases TNA's most famous
documents, such as Shakespeare's will and the Domesday Book.
The jobholder will co-ordinate archival research for the Learning Curve and
online museum, and contribute to the preparation of e-learning content. The
jobholder will liaise with various internal departments, including a
dedicated team of web designers who carry out the web development on site,
and external contractors such as researchers and educational authors.
You need to have knowledge to degree level or equivalent of British History
and experience of researching in archives and other collections for
documents, images and film. You will understand the issues accompanying the
creation of material for publication on a web site and have experience of
researching sources for an online educational resource, as well as recent
teaching experience.
