Can I just say that the generally bitchy and negative tone of a lot of the
postings on this list (not just about ASLIB), doesn't reflect the outlook of
the majority of CILIP members, who will I believe be saddened to see ASLIB
so troubled, and especially concerned that some sort of resolution should be
found for ASLIB's loyal staff, especially at this time of year.
Very best wishes
Bruce

On behalf of all the Aslib staff, it has been sad to see all the comments
displayed.
I am pleased to say that this isn't representative of everyone in the
profession: we have had a tremendous amount of support and there is
obviously a widespread desire for Aslib to continue its valuable
contribution to the profession.
