As you may or may not know, a joint international working party put together by the Pharma Documentation Ring, the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers, and the Publishers Association has been working over the past few months on a Code of Practice for publishers' provision, of pharmaceutical companies' use of, e-content (primarily articles from e-journals).
You will find our final draft at http://www.alpsp.org/e-contentpharma.htm and http://www.p-d-r.com/publications/publications.html. We would of course be most grateful for any comments or suggestions for improvement.
It would be very helpful to have any suggested modifications by the end of June, in order that we can circulate a finalised version for endorsement in August or September. We would plan to launch the final, endorsed document in the Autumn and would very much appreciate your help in doing this; any suggestions for where or how it could most effectively be launched would also be very gratefully received.
Please send any comments to me ([log in to unmask])
Many thanks
Sally
