I can shed some light but not a solution, gin calls info providers
scripts directly.
I've not looked at gin for a while but it did contain some code
something like
if [ -f /opt/lcg/libexec/lcg-info-wrapper ] ; then
/opt/lcg/libexec/lcg-info-wrapper
else
/opt/edg/libexec/edg-info-se
fi
This was to make gin compatible with the switch in info provides.
So my suggestion would be that since the lcg info provider may not
have been configured yet it is looking for the old one.
