Hi Gonzalo
We have been trying to investigate some of the issues with data transfer
to and from Toronto as we have lots of failures either on input or output.
There are currently 50 LHCB jobs in the queue that all have run
successfully and are trying to transfer their data back to PIC-CASTOR, but
they all fail on the transfer, which they try multiple times. I have put
one of the std.out log files at
http://bigmac-www.physics.utoronto.ca/logs/node164_07010_std.out where
failures to copy to PIC and CERN are depicted.
I do not know why the ftpd process at PIC should grow so large though. Any
thoughts on what we should look out for on our side?
bigmac-fw.physics.utoronto.ca is our firewall machine but all the ports
are open for the SE and CE (bigmac-lcg-se.physics.utoronto.ca and
bigmac-lcg-ce.physics.utoronto.ca).
