learners with learning difficulties
Wednesday 26 May 2004,
NSPCC, 3 Gilmour Close, Beaumont Leys, Leicester LE4 1EZ
There is increasing interest both within the LSC and with individual learning providers in how non-accredited learning and achievement can be identified and recorded.
Based on a recent report and research by NIACE, this conference focuses on how the learning hopes and aspirations of learners with learning difficulties can be translated into learning outcomes, progress recorded and achievement celebrated.
The conference will explore assessment processes, Individual Learning, Plans Person Centred Planning, and recognising achievement. The LSC plans and position on an overall strategy on non-accredited learning will be presented.
The conference will be of interest to:
Learning and Skills Councils
FE Colleges
Training Organisations
Voluntary Groups
Community Groups
Work based providers
Local Education Authorities - ACL providers
