RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Geographic Information and Remote Sensing
Applications are invited from candidates to conduct research into alternative strategies for characterising the land cover, soils and topography of field sites (principally farms and estates) for use as inputs to the Land Allocation Decision Support System (LADSS).
Candidates will be required to have an honours degree in geographic information or environmental science with a minimum of 1 year's relevant postgraduate experience.
Starting salary, depending upon qualifications and experience, will be normally within the range £17,100 - £19,500 per annum. Pensionable appointment.
