The University of Manitoba Women's Studies Program invites applications
for a Post-Doctoral Fellowship (up to 5 years post Ph.D.) for a two year
term starting July 1, 2005. Funding for this Post-Doc is provided by the
Margaret Laurence Endowment in Women's Studies. The fellowship award is
$31,000 per annum (non-negotiable). The candidate will be expected to
teach two half-courses per year for an additional $8160 per annum and to
engage in an active program of feminist research supported by a $3,000
research/travel grant in each year.
Applicants should submit a c.v., three letters of reference, a one page
description of a research plan that would be carried out during the
period of the appointment, a description of University of Manitoba
Women's Studies courses that you are able to teach, and a proposal for a
special topics course. Applicants should describe the areas and
strengths in teaching and research that they would bring to our program.
