Lunch and visits
There are several eating places in the centre of St. Albans, and
arrangements have been made to visit the Clock Tower N B- there are 93fairly
narrow steps to the top, but the view is worth it! The Abbey will be open at
this time, and a Medieval town trail is available.

“Early Medieval Pottery from St. Albans”
3.00-Brenda Bolton, University of London
will speak on the international position of St. Albans before and after the
pontificate of Adrian IV. Title to be confirmed
4.00 Tea and Discussion.
