Hi - it seems very likely that you don't have enough RAM&SWAP on your
machine for the size of data you are processing - on most operating
systems, if you increase the swap space sufficiently all should be fine
(though not as fast as if you had enough RAM). However, I _think_ (someone
correct me?) that on the Mac the swap is automatically increased as
needed, but obviously this can only happen if you have sufficient free
disk space. So you might just need to clear up a few GB of disk space and
all _might_ then be ok.
