Hello, Andreas.
Just a thought... FireFox may be a better choice since it is a cut-down
Mozilla. Not tried this myself (or needed to for that matter) but recent
working with FireFox impresses me. Opera might be a good alternative too
as it is reputed to be very fast and most likely quite a small footprint
too.
But since cygwin runs on top of Windows, then by definition you have a
Windows ready and waiting to be used. You should be able to fire up
whatever you use in Windows (IE, Mozilla, FireFox, ...) and just point to
the relevant FSL documentation. At worst you could copy the
documentation to a non-cygwin directory and browse at it from there
presumably.
Hope this helps,
Denis
