Thanks for your fast reply.
I did think of that, but have 1 GB as RAM memory and 49 GB free disk space. Working in Windows XP with Cygwin.
as i wrote... did manage to have a correct analysis after some of these errors....which makes it even more cryptic to me...

How much RAM and swap space do you have? This is crashing at a point when
more memory is being grabbed. We recommend RAM of 512MB or more, and swap
space at least equal to RAM (although 2GB min recommended). Failing
that, what platform are you on?
