Hi,
I had to install fsl on cygwin for a collegue. It went quite smoothly, feeds is ok. However, maybe others know remedies to:
1) get some sort of internet browser running on cygwin to activate the help (I thought about softlinking to windoze default browser but I am not sure - can you install mozilla on cywin and substitute the fsl-help default webbrowser call to be replaced by mozilla?)
2) the following file select error: when selecting files via the GUI, the source-dir is 'doubled' - i.e., if the file x.txt is located under E:\cygwin\usr\local and I click in the file selector at it, it will eventually show up as
E:\cygwin\usr\local\E:\cygwin\usr\local\x.txt
and produce an error. Mostly, you can simply remove the front 'E:\cygwin\usr\local' but it is very annoying and is does not seem to work for loading any *.fsf files (i.e., these turned out unloadable via the GUI).
3) having multiple partitions, fsl on cygwin can only access and work on files on the partition cygwin was installed on. Is there any way to access other partitions?
Thanks a lot in advance-
Andreas
