No, my point was that McPhee's conscious selection of a title
borrowed from a guy who *thinks* druids are "religious" figures
serves to emphasize this religious dimension (erroneous or otherwise)
in calling Bower the "arch" druid, or the MOST religious
environmentalist, i.e., the head honcho of the tree worshippers, the
high priest. (I think I used the term "high priest," didn't I?) (and
keeper of the flame of environmental purism/orthodoxy?) etc. etc.?
