The 3rd Conference on
Growth and Business Cycles in Theory and Practice
Manchester, 15-16 July 2004
The Centre for Growth and Business Cycle Research at the
University of Manchester is pleased to invite submissions of
papers for its third conference. The Conference is intended to
provide a forum for the dissemination of recent research on growth
and business cycles from both theoretical and empirical
perspectives. The Conference is unique in the UK, and should
be of interest to both academic economists and policy makers
alike. Invited speakers include Richard Agenor (Yale University
and the World Bank), Juan Dolado (Carlos III University, Madrid),
Athanasios Orphanides (Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve
System), Jonathan Temple (University of Bristol) and Martin Weale
(National Institute of Economic and Social Research).
Papers should be sent in duplicate to Marianne Sensier, School of
Economic Studies, University of Manchester, Oxford Road,
Manchester, M13 9PL, UK by 29th March 2004.
