running in Newcastle:
- September 28th: e-Learning: Applying Key Design Concepts with VLEs
- September 29th: e-Learning: Content solutions for VLEs
- September 30th: e-Learning: Assessment and Communications with VLEs
- October 5th: Detecting and Deterring Plagiarism
These practical workshops represent an excellent introduction to all
aspects of e-Learning. Whilst candidates would ideally attend all these
events, they may also be attended individually.

1. e-Learning: Applying Key Design Concepts with VLEs (September 28th)
Outlines how the analysis of classroom-based teaching and learning can
be used to provide a model to guide the design of effective e-Learning
components.
2. e-Learning: Content solutions for VLEs (September 29th)
Deal with practical issues relating to the creation, reuse and delivery
of online content.
3. e-Learning: Assessment and Communications with VLEs (September 30th)
Covers the design of online assessment and the use of online
communication to support learning.
4. Detecting and Deterring Plagiarism
Explores the impact of the web on plagiarism in education, and enables
attendees to examine online and other methods of deterring and detecting
it.
For those wishing to gain a nationally-recognised qualification in
e-Learning, please note that all of these workshops may also contribute
towards the BTEC-accredited Netskills professional development
