Hi there.
Having recently purchased a second hand car, I applied for and received
the new style vehicle log book to confirm I am the registered keeper.
This also lists the last owner with their address. This is bearing in
mind that cars can be bought from auctions so you may never talk to or
see the previous owner in the actual transaction.
Now if I wanted to maybe find out a little more about the car I just
purchased, perhaps to see whether it was a of waste money (I know most
cars are!) - or get some service history from the previous owner I have
details to hand on that document to get in touch with them.
I would not want people contacting me should I have sold on a car....
Is this right?
Regards
Mark
