Dear Folks
Anyone is welcome to my 4600 maths questions written in QM Designer. It works but ...
for mathematics and questions with mathematical content, the use of random parameters is useful in MathML and SVG expressions. This then results in many millions of question realisations. See:
1. "Pedagogic issues in setting online questions" MSOR Connections Volume 3, Number 4: Nov 2003. with D Nichols & M Gill.
Available on http://ltsn.mathstore.ac.uk/newsletter/vol3.shtml#no4
2. "Setting objective tests in mathematics using QM Perception" 8th CAA Conf, Loughborough, July 2004 with M Gill.
3. "Setting objective tests in linear algebra using QM Perception" MSOR Connections Volume 4, Number 3 Aug 2004, with E Martin.
(will be) available on http://ltsn.mathstore.ac.uk/newsletter/vol4.shtml#no4
for details. I am now developing this system and it will be freely available soon (will email this group). It's a big job though so collaboration is welcomed!
Best wishes,
