Dear all,
We are working in the field of applied ecology and population dynamics
modelling.
Two competing approaches can be performed namely "Individual Based models"
(IBM)and "Population models".
Fitting an IBM when data are individualy based is not a problem.
But does any one have any experience (or reference to suggest) in fitting
an IBM to population based data (in "population based data", I mean cohorts
surveys, histograms of population sizes ... ) ?
Thanks a lot !
Etienne
