Dear All,
I am running some analysis trying to compare the model fit by
Bayesian Hierarchical regression and ordinary regression.
I have 4 variables in the model. If I run a grand model in ordinary
regression, the # of paramters is 5 (including intercept), I can then
compute AIC, SC. IF i run a hierarchical regression
model, say, the first hierarchy i have 3 submodels, (involve 15
parameters)and i have 5 super-parameters as well. what is the No.of
parameters to use to compute the AIC, SC for the hierarchical model?
Thanks a lot for your thoughts and comments!!
Virginia
