Apologies for cross-posting

The London Archives Regional Council Small Grants Scheme is open to all
archives within the London region currently registered with LARC*. A small
sum of money is available to fund a range of one-off projects costing in the
region of 100. This scheme is designed to fund projects such as:

        * Booking a place on training course
        * Purchasing a publication e.g. British Archives or BS5454
        * Purchasing equipment or conservation supplies

Applications
Applications to the scheme should be no longer than 1 side of A4 but should
include:
        * Name of the archive and contact details (name, position,
address, tel. no. and email)
        * Details of project (training course, publication, etc)
        * All project costs (this should detail all costs you wish to
claim incl. VAT)
        * Start and finish dates of the project
        * Brief 'make your case' as to why the project is of value to
your institution
Applications should be returned to Bente Dahl, London Metropolitan Archives,
40 Northampton Road, London EC1R 0HB or emailed to
[log in to unmask] by 27 February 2004.

Assessment
Applications will be assessed by the LARC Officers Group during March and
successful applicants will be informed by post by 20th March.

Deadlines
The closing date for applications is Friday 27 February and all grants must
be claimed by Friday 30 April 2004.
