Assistant Records Manager £21,282 - £23,358 pa
Over the past 12 months the Records Management Unit has taken on a wider
information management remit to be able to better support the Council’s
ability to meet legislative requirements. We are seeking an enthusiastic
records management professional to join our team and assist with taking on
the interesting challenges presented by this new focus.
The core work for this post will involve facilitating good records
management systems within directorates as well as overseeing the
operational needs of the RMU team. Other key areas of the role will
include managing record storage areas and assisting in compiling an
information audit in preparation for Freedom of Information. Based in
County Hall, you will work as part of a close team and actively contribute
to the Unit's aim to provide an efficient and cost-effective records
management service to the County Council.
You should possess a postgraduate qualification in Archives and Records
Management, or equivalent, but applications are welcome from candidates
currently completing their training. You will need basic IT skills,
