* Collections of the Month: 'Bicycle Clips'
This Easter the National Velodrome in Manchester hosts the UCI Track Cycling
World Cup. So this month the Archives Hub is highlighting cycling
collections, from the early days of British bicycle manufacture to cycle
clubs and road safety campaigns.

* Latest additions: Descriptions from the Universities of Edinburgh, Leeds,
Nottingham, Reading, and Warwick, and from King's College, Cambridge, the
University of Wales Bangor, the Museum of English Rural Life, the Bodleian
Library, the Borthwick Institute of Historical Research, the Institute of
Commonwealth Studies, the Labour History Archive and Study Centre, Leeds
College of Music, the Royal Northern College of Music, and the Scott Polar
Research Institute.
These include descriptions of papers of writer EM Forster (1879-1970);
papers of sociologist Viola Klein (1908-1973); and records of Grenada
pressure groups.

Miners' Strike: 'Burning Issues' is a new show from Banner Theatre to mark
the 20th anniversary of the strike, at the People's History Museum, May

Plus, the Labour History Archive & Study Centre, in conjunction with the
University of Manchester's Department of Government, will be organising a
