Hi all
Slightly off the track of records management depending on where you draw
the line of when records are captured.
Just to provide a bit of background firstly. We currently have a Web
content management system that separates content from presentation. Within
this system we are developing long documents, ie documents that are larger
than 1 web page in length (currently we are working on one that is about 25
pages).
So the question is there any standard tags for describing the internal
parts of an XML document. What I am talking about is the majority of
documents written have core characteristics
Introduction
Chapters
Conclusion
Other documents may have:
footnotes
Table of contents
index
Bibliography
For example a business case document would have;
Executive summary
Business drivers
Option appraisal
Do nothing option
Risk assessment
Stakeholders
So if anyone does know of any standards to describe the internal aspect of
XML I would be extremely grateful so we do not have to re-create another
wheel.
Thanks
