I too would like to express my sincere condolences. David Pfeiffer was
always interesting to talk to, and I know he will be missed.

CDS Faculty & Staff: It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I
have
to share the following news. Last night in his sleep Dr. David Pfeiffer
passed away. David has served in the position of Resident Scholar
within
the Center on Disability Studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa
for
the past several years - he was an internationally recognized scholar
and
author in the field of disability studies, known and respected by
everyone
in the field - he will be sorely missed by everyone in CDs and by the
many
