Could I ask the list members:
How many claim and are given, their 11 hours compensatory rest periods?
If you do take compensatory time, who covers it?, as technically, unless it is prospectively built into your hours, your colleagues just end up doing more day-time cover.
My managers are "looking into" whether the compensatory time is legal or not. We are getting called more and more when on-call, and I have acrued about 4 weeks worth of compensatory hours, but been told "how could I possibly take this time off".
