• Tickets for all SAM screenings are $7.00 for general public and
$6.00 for SAM members.
• Tickets can be purchased in advance in person at SAM box office or
by phone at (206) 654-3121.
• Tickets may also be purchased at the door on the night of the
screenings.
• All films preceded by a brief introduction.
Felliniana Screenings at the UW:
• Intervista, October 28 Husky Union Building (HUB) auditorium, UW
campus 7:30 (introduced by scriptwriter Gianfranco Angelucci and
composer Nicola Piovani). Free admission.
• The Lost Ending (a documentary on the making of 81/2 which garnered
much praise and applause at this years Cannes Film Festival, October 30
Henry Art Gallery, UW campus, 7:30 Introduced by the director, Mario
Sesti). $10 general admission / $8 Henry members.
Other Felliniana Events:
• Felliniana Opening Celebration. Performance by Orchestra
Nostalgico of music from Fellini's films composed by Nino Rota and
Nicola Piovani, with a video and live commentary by Piovani. Other
program highlights include tributes to Fellini by Fellini scriptwriter
Gianfranco Angelucci , 81/2 actress Barbara Steele and UW distinguished
poet Linda Bierds. Craig Sheppard will give a special piano
performance. Master of Ceremonies is critic and actor John
Procaccino. October 29, 7:30 pm, Meany Hall, University of Washington.
General Admission: $25 / UW students: $6. Tickets on sale from the UW

• 81/2 Halloween Party. A special and intimate private screening of
81/2 and a conversation with 81/2 actress Barbara Steele. October 31,
The Big Picture. Advance tickets only. Ticket price: $75. For ticket

• The Gladiator Nun: Fellini's Women. Art exhibit at the Henry Art
Gallery, featuring original drawings by Fellini and spanning his
career. Artwork on loan from the Fondazione Federico Fellini (Rimini,
Italy). Runs from October 17 to December 15, 2003.
• The Beautiful Confusion: Fellini and Secchiaroli on the Set of
81/2. An exhibit of photographs on 81/2 by renowned photographer Tazio
Secchiaroli (who played the role of Paparazzo in La dolce vita). At the
UW Suzzallo Library, October 20 to November 30, 2003.
• Vintage Fellini Film Poster Exhibition from the private collection
of Don Young of Texas. Seattle Art Museum (October 12-31, 2003).
• Interdisciplinary Conference on Fellini and His Legacy, at the
University of Washington, featuring scholars, film professionals, and
film aficionados from many nations (October 29 to November 1, 2003).
