A 3 year post is available for an RA based in the Policy, Ethics and Life Sciences (PEALS) Research Institute, in the University of Newcastle. You will work with Professor Erica Haimes, Director of PEALS, and Professor Alison Murdoch, Director of the Newcastle Fertility Centre, on a Wellcome Trust-funded project entitled 'A comparative study of embryo donors' and non-donors' views on embryo experimentation for pre-implantation genetic diagnosis and stem cell therapies.' You will have a PhD or comparable research experience. Your main duties will include : designing, piloting and finalising interview aide-memoirs; recruiting interviewees; conducting interviews with actual and potential donors; writing literature reviews; co-presenting papers and co-publishing journal articles and final reports.
