Another World is Possible
--------------------------------------
Dear All,
A Possible Social Forum for Exeter (and its rural
outskirts)?
We can build a better world...
Invitation:
Social Forums are just beginning grow across the
world: South America, New Zealand, and, in Europe,
Florence, Paris, London, Bristol. Social Forums are
networks of groups and individuals who want to create
a better world, both locally and globally - finding
ways together to promote social justice, celebrate
diversity and build sustainable communities. A few of
us have met a couple of times to discuss whether we
could set up an Exeter Social Forum. We would like to
invite you to join us to plan a possible event to
launch a Forum in Exeter - would you be willing to
join us to get to know one another, start to create a
vision and begin planning an event together?
When? Wednesday 29th October, 2003: 7pm - 9.45pm
Where? Exeter Central Library Music Room (upstairs
meeting room)
Who? We have sent this invitation to as many groups
and individuals that we can think of who might be
interested. Please feel free to pass the invitation
on to others. We hope that the meeting will be
sociable, friendly and accessible to all. We are keen
that people come along who might be willing to share
in setting up the Forum - we are definitely still at
the stage before the beginning! So please come to
share your hopes and ideas for a better world so that
together we can try to turn them into actions.
Looking forward to meeting you -
Stella, Tom, Annie, Roy, Gerald, Jamie
