A&E may be in a Critical care component of SHO training I think.

Subject: Re: 2 year pre-registration posts
I have the same concerns, how can we do any realistic training in just 4
months, and who can go through their training scheme three times a year
without brain meltdown. Admittedly they may be the same as year 1 SHO's in
experience but we normally have a couple of more senior SHO's about to
spread the load. Also has anyone said if year 2 HO's can actually discharge
a patient?
Also does A&E appear on any SHO training rotation? How can anyone choose to
come into A&E as an SPR if there is no exposure on a rotation.
