The Policy Studies Institute is expanding its employment and social policy
research and is making new permanent appointments. Successful candidates
will work on a range of projects on welfare-to-work, workplace stress,
training and education, disability, ethnicity and lone parents.
We are looking for a Principal Research Fellow, with an established record
of research management and fund-raising, to take a leading role in further
developing PSI’s qualitative research. This person has the prospect of
taking on a Group leadership role.
We are also appointing Research Officers and/or Fellows. We need a Research
Fellow with quantitative skills and experience of handling complex datasets
and one or more researchers with experience of in-depth interviewing and
qualitative analysis packages. Research Fellows will have a post-graduate
degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience. Research Officers
will have a good first degree in a relevant discipline and perhaps a post-
graduate qualification.
