I'm disposing of the following (to library collections):
A description of the Ordnance Survey Large Scale Plans (1954) (17 copies);
A description of the Ordnance Survey Large Scale Plans (1947) (1 copy);
Planning maps, Explanatory Texts:
No. 1 Land Classification (1950) (2 copies);
No. 2 Average Average Rainfall (1950) (5 copies);
No. 3 Population (1950) (2 copies);
No. 4 Limestone (1957) (3 copies);
No. 5 Vegetation: The Grasslands of Engalnd and Wales (1952) (1 copy);
No. 6 Local Accessibility (1955) (2 copies);
No. 8 Vegetation: Reconnaissance Survey of Scotland (1958) (4copies).
These latter maps accompany the Ten Mile (1:625,000) OS maps.
Of less interest I also have a drawerful of copies of "Merseyside" in the
Association's British Landscapes Through Maps Series. It was published in
1964 to accompany the 1 inch seventh series map 100.
Though obviously dated it does contain concise background information on
both the physical and human landscape of the local area. 36 pages.
If you're interested in any please let me know.
