disability is a name for a form of discriminate against people who are denied legal rights on a systematic basis. E.g. Not to be allowed access to all buildings unless a "warning" is given prior to the visit.
I think one of the questions that need to be asked is would this requirement be acceptable with any other group of people who also face other types discrimination? I think that the answer would be a definitively "NO".
The discrimination 'disability' is mainly used against people with physical, sensory, learning, or health related impairments. Survivors of the mental health system also face disability.
Therefore people can not have an individual disability in the same way people don't have individual's racism, etc.
If we only seek the bottom line then that is all we can expect to get, however if want real equality and dignity then clearly this is unacceptable.
Another point is that people should'nt "Out" other people unless their statements are hypocritical to our basic struggles.
