At Burgh House, New End Square, Hampstead, NW3 (3 mins walk from the
Northern Line station) there will be a talk at 7.30 pm Thurs 17th July on
the history of the house [where the Bambridges lived 1935-8, see eg Lycett
pp 576 &8] by the curator. She will mention what is known of the former
residents in the house. This is a meeting of the Camden History Society,
visitors welcome for a fee of £1.
I have another engagement and cannot be present;I hope some Kipling Society
members may be, and that during the discussion they can identify themselves
as of this Society and perhaps add some details about Elsie.
