Research Adviser (21 hours per week)

Salary £33,225 - £38,082 pa pro rata inclusive, plus benefits
Strengthening the evidence base and raising the profile of physiotherapy
research are key objectives of the CSP's current Strategic Plan. The CSP is
looking to appoint a second research adviser (0.6 wte) to promote and
encourage physiotherapy research at all levels.
You will already have a postgraduate research degree and an understanding
of research processes, agencies and funding. You will have experience of
undertaking research and be skilled in literature reviewing. You will have
high level analytical skills, as well as good report writing, oral and
written communication skills. You will be an effective networker in order
to be able to advise and support groups and individuals within the
profession who are involved in, or who promote, research.
This post includes the responsibility of co-ordinating and managing the
Society's research awards schemes, working closely with members of the
Scientific Panel. You will also work particularly closely with the other
research adviser, as part of the Research and Clinical Effectiveness Unit.
