I posted some weeks ago about an evaluation I am doing for an English
social services department of a pilot 'Social Model Assessment Team'. The
first stage was to help the Team evaluate for themselves whether they are
doing social model assessments (and help them do this). In the next stage,I
will be using both a postal questionnaire and interviews with disabled
people who have been assessed by the Team to find out what difference
having a community care assessment based on the social model has made to
their lives. Has anyone else done anything like this? That is, anything
which measures the impact of an assessment based on the social model? If
so, I would be grateful for any information about the kinds of questions
you asked. Or any ideas anyone has for that matter!
