Maple 9 now shipping
--------------------
The world's most advanced mathematical software system

Maple 9, the latest version of the leading mathematical software system,
is now shipping. With extensive functional and interface enhancements, new
graphics capabilities and the ability to generate code for MATLAB and Visual
Basic applications, it's bound to be of considerable interest to anyone doing
serious work with maths.

Maple is well known as the world's most advanced symbolic maths engine,
but it includes a broad range of industrial-strength numeric solvers too,
many of them new to this version. Its immense power doesn't make it
difficult to use, however, which is why it's a standard for mathematics
teaching in universities around the world. New, built-in student packages
for Linear Algebra and Precalculus and an improved, friendlier interface
to ODE solvers make Maple 9 an even more open and accessible maths
software system.

A New Mathcad Engineering Productivity Collection
-------------------------------------------------
with £1400 worth of free software!

The latest version 11 of Mathcad has proved extremely popular, with
extensive additional functionality, better editing tools (including
multi-level Undo/redo across regions), improved data handling, enhanced
support for mixed-format data and more document portability (such as
export to RTF). Now there's a new collection, Mathcad 11 Platinum,
designed specifically to enhance your engineering productivity - and while stock
lasts, it's available for exactly the same price as a normal, commercial
single-user copy of, or upgrade to, Mathcad 11!

Mathcad 11 Platinum includes £1400 worth of Mathcad-compatible software in
addition to a single-user copy of Mathcad 11 itself. There's one of the
invaluable Mathcad Engineering Libraries, essential collections of electronic
books full of key data, reference material and worked examples for either Civil,
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering - you choose which one you want. Then
there's VisSim Plus, which lets you build mathematical models and prototypes in
software from ready-made function blocks or your own Mathcad routines. And there
are two Mathcad Extension Packs, for Signal Processing and Solving &
Optimisation, which bring a huge range of additional engineering functionality
into Mathcad.
