seeks a human geographer for a tenure track assistant professorship,
specializing in political or economic geography and in one or more of the
following: ethnicity, gender, globalization, migration, political economy,
or tourism, in an urban or comparative context. A foreign regional
specialty is preferred, as are ability to secure extramural funding and
interdisciplinary links in the humanities and social sciences.
Candidates must demonstrate ability to teach a combination of lower
division general education courses (introductory human, world regional,
and/or human diversity in the US), as well as upper division and graduate
courses in political and/or economic geography and in their areas of
specialization.
