Visited Fort Cumberland on Saturday and can report that there were lots of
visitors who all seemed to be enjoying the fun of experiencing archaeology
at first hand.
The Centre for Archaeology team provided a friendly and informal atmosphere
unlike the usual corporate image of EH often seen by the public.
Lots of hands-on activities for children and re-enactor's demonstations as
well made it a very lively event!
And the WI made a nice cup of tea also!!
On Sunday went to Fishbourne and had a go at dowsing. Sadly missed the
geophysical demo but according to David Rudkin it went down well with the
