You are quite right. No, I am not sure, but I am not aware of any examples
of stone work (mortise and tenon, for instance) such as that at Stonehenge.
I may also admit that I am no expert on that. There may be some precedent,
I am just not aware on it. One reference to the unique quality of
Stonehenge: Fernand Niel, "The Mysteries of Stonehenge", 1974, p.198. There
are innumerable others.
I have no personal knowledge other than what has been claimed by others.
