It is worth saying that these cultures, at least are also very much part of
the British cultural heritage and that of much of Europe (to say nothing of
North America, Australia etc!). Their influence is not simply confined within
present-day national boundaries. If "Loan agreements" can be set up which
neither reduce the accessibility of these items nor put them at risk of increased
deterioration through transport then well and good.
