Working in the Rural Sector and wish to gain further qualifications ?

Part-time distance learning courses in Agri-business Management and Food
Business Management are now available through SAC. These courses are
specifically designed to equip managers in these sectors to meet the
challanges of the 21st Century covering topics such as Rural Development
and the Environment as well as Traditional Business Management subjects.

The courses over two years lead to the award of a Postgraduate Diploma
validated by the University of Aberdeen, there is also the opportunity to
progress to complete an MSc over a further year.

The normal entry requirement is a degree or HND in a relevent subject,
however acceptance is based on a candidates ability to benefit from the
programme, and as such no absolute academic prerequisites are laid down.
The courses invlove self study using the latest computer technology,
however the human element is not forgotten live tutorials and online
support is given by SAC's leading business management researchers and
consultants plus 3 short residential Schools (up to 5 days) at SAC's
Craibstone Campus in Aberdeen. ESF support may be available for suitable
applicants, we particularly welcome applications from those running or
employed by Small to the Medium Size Enterprises.
