Dear Jane,
Translation has been a major topic of Localization and Internationalization
Interest Group (DC-International) since it was launched in 1997.
(When DC-International was a Working Group when established.

The DCMI registry has translations in more than 20 languages.
The translations stored in the registry were mainly collected by
DC-International. During the development of the DCMI registry, the
Registry WG received new translations. These translations were mostly
produced by volunteers (including myself) and given to DCMI. For these
few years DC-International was a quiet IG. DC-International always
welcome new translations and updates of previous translations.
I believe that Harry Wagner, a co-chair of Registry WG, also welcomes
new translations and updates.
