3.00 RMS LGG meeting (getting the groups going)
At the last meeting of the RMS LGG two working groups were agreed;
Development of a model classification scheme/file plan for Local
Government
Development of a business case for Records Management in Local
Government
If you can join one of these two groups please do. The idea of these
working parties is to get the people together to create documentation that
we would need to do as part of our normal workload. By doing this in
partnership with others we will be able reduce our workload, create a
better end product, and provide something of use to the wider audience of
Local Authorities.
To make this happen we need to;
Appoint leads for the working groups to drive these tasks forward and
arrange meetings
Agree on feedback from the groups (eg every meeting of the LGG)
agree on timescales for the results (eg draft, completed)
