We've been having some success with Yale's CAS.
Someone whose opinions I have a great deal of
time for described this approach as "Athens DA done right".
CAS is just one of range of WebISO options. See
<http://middleware.internet2.edu/webiso/>
for more info.
It would be very good if the community collaborated on this.
Rather than, for example, each of us figuring out how to CAS-ify
Blackboard.
I would be delighted to co-ordinate some sort of list like:
WebISO method : Adopted : Considering : Portal Framework : Applications
so an entry for Bristol might look like
CAS : : Bristol : uPortal : Blackboard
: Silkymail
: SITS
: Aleph
: etc
Reactions?
