Again, this seems to be a timely article, Steven. I just heard that two
legislators in our state of Wisconsin are trying to push a "Death with
Dignity" law through the state legislature. This is their fourth time
because they were unable to get enough support for the bill. I just
heard
another debate on the topic on our local Christian radio station, and
the
other person that was in the debate was the director of Wisconsin Right
To
Life.

Subject: May Issue of New Mobility
The May Issue of New Mobility is out and some of its articles
are online. The feature story this month is "Physician Assisted
Death: Are We Asking the Right Questions?" by Barry Corbet. Many
here probably remember Corbet as the former editor of New Mobility
and may also remember his fairly strong and consistent support for
legalization of assisted suicide. Corbet's current article is his
longest on the subject - and his conclusions will come as a surprise
to those of you familiar with his long-held position on the subject.
It surprised the heck out of me. The URL for his article is:

Coincidentally or not, current New Mobility editor Tim Gilmer devoted
this month's "Bully Pulpit" to a very personal story involving the
death of a friend in Oregon titled "Last Days". The URL is:
