"Houston, we have a problem."
OK, so I now have a completely LCFGng based system, with our LCFGng server
running on RH7.3, and with a repository which only contains the RH7.3 RPMs.
I now have a CE, an SE, and a set of WNs running RH7.3, all which see the
network, have PBS installed on them, and appear to have most of the globus
and edg software.
I had been feeling quite optomistic up to this point about my chances of
completing the install and getting our CE, SE, and WNs all running and
shortly to appear as a green-dot on the GridMap.
Now I am worried.
I'm getting the feeling that I shouldn't be using anything other than
v1_4_11, which means
1) translate updaterep.conf into new format,
2) get redhat73-cfg.h that works with v1_4_11,
3) get rh73-release-rpm.h and rh73-update-rpm.h which work with v1_4_11
Is it futile to attempt to get our site up and running using either HEAD or
t20030522_xxxx tag?
Cheers,
Ian.
