CALL FOR PAPERS
MAGNETIC FABRICS
Dear Colleagues,
There is currently a high level of interest in magnetic fabrics, and
numerous noteworthy new approaches and applications have been
highlighted in the recent special sessions in Nice (EGS/EUG/AGU) and
Denver (GSA). Charly Aubourg, Fatima Martin Hernandez, Catalina
Lüneburg and I are proposing the publication of a special issue of
Physics and Chemistry of the Earth, to showcase the state of the art
in magnetic fabric research. We believe that it is important to
include all aspects of the field, from theoretical and experimental
studies to geological applications.
Please let us know at your earliest convenience if you are interested
in submitting a manuscript for a PCE special issue, and include a
tentative title for your contribution. We plan to submit the
proposal to PCE by May 23, with a tentative list of authors and
titles. We are planning for a manuscript submission deadline of
August 30, but we will consider delaying the deadline if necessary.
Cheers,
Mike Jackson
